Well, it's been over four years since I last posted in this blog. A lot has happened since then, most of it totally irrelevant to By Love Designs. But what is relevant is the reason why I decided to restart this ol' project: My current job as an SEO specialist has taught me the importance of blogging when it comes to driving traffic to your website. (Or in my case, to my Etsy shop.) As I was banging my head against the desk trying to figure out a cost-effective way to help with my SEO, I realized I should be doing for myself what I often recommend that my clients do.
I'm excited to be back and have another creative outlet, since the blogs I write for work usually involve quickly researching the topic at hand and then writing about it. Here, however, I get to write about a topic I am knowledgeable about through experience, and that I am passionate about. I thought this early pandemic collage of me was a good picture to reintroduce myself with (and yes, I am wearing a By Love Designs product: black obsidian heart earrings with feather charms -- I'm still sticking to my boho-lovin' ways).
